A 50-hectare haven of peace, nestled in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon jungle, between Iquitos and Nauta, on the still wild banks of the river Itaya, a tributary of the Amazon. More than just a lodge, it's a ecogîte solidaire, based on the principles of permaculture, respect for nature and the sustainable tourism in the Amazon.
Since 2014, we've been bringing an old deforested plot of land back to life in an environmentally friendly way. Thanks to the support of residents from neighboring villages and the help of many volunteers, Inti Eco Lodge has become a living example of’sustainable ecology : solar energy, composting, eco-building, natural materials, ecological waste and wastewater management, as well as organic crops.
L’Peruvian Amazon remains one of the country's most unspoilt regions. Close to’Iquitos, Here, where the Amazon is formed, rivers come together to create a unique biodiversity. At Inti, live an experience immersive and authentic: observe the exceptional flora and fauna, cruise the river in a kayak, explore the jungle on our hiking trails, climb up the canopy thanks to our monkey bridges or relax in our hammock area, facing the lush forest. You can also take advantage of our ecological natural swimming pool, to refresh yourself without impacting the ecosystem.
Inti Eco Lodge supports local communities. We employ natives neighbouring villages, taking part in their local life and running community projects. reforestation and’agroforestry. Our approach is intended to be fair and responsible, with one objective: to make the sustainable tourism accessible to all budgets, while respecting nature and local traditions.
